By using existing resources to diversify tourism products in Pulau Tuba, Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia (LKIM) has developed a program Homestay Pulau Tuba in the year 2000 while operated by the Association of Fishermen Langkawi area. There are 30 units of houses under the homestay program where the head of the family home to work as a fisherman.
